A Steak Dinner

Sometimes we’ll begin a weekend at the cabin with a steak dinner cooked over the fire. Here we have a ribeye, one of my favorite cuts. When I’m cooking steak I like to make sure that I have very high heat so that the cut gets a really nice sear, while remaining rare to medium rare on the inside. Whenever possible, I also try to have a little variety on the grill, and since I’d picked up some whole birds from Two Wash Ranch to cook up the next day, I went ahead and cooked up the steaks next to some flavorful chicken hearts.
